Please read the below if you are seeing the following message block articles on the website:
"Your browser is blocking our login functionality, so we are unable to verify you have an account.
Please try using a different browser or click HERE to visit our FAQs if the issue persists."
If you are seeing this message blocking the article content, this means that our login and paywall mechanisms are being blocked by your browser (or, in less common cases, your ad-blocker).
In order to resolve the issue, we suggest the following:
1) Should you wish to do so, please try using a different browser (by “browser” we mean Google Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari etc.) to the one you are currently using.
2) If you are using Firefox and you do not wish to use a different browser, please verify whether your “Privacy & Security” settings are set on “Strict”. You can access your “Privacy & Security” settings by selecting “Settings” then “Privacy & Security”.
Firefox states that this setting “may cause some sites or content to break” and “this setting some web sites to not display content or work correctly”. Should you wish to do so, please change this setting to “Standard” instead of “Strict” when using our website.
If you do not wish to change your setting to “Standard”, please consider disabling the Firefox “enhanced tracking protection” for our website. Firefox explains how to do so at this link.
3) If you are still facing the issue after steps 1 and 2 above, ensure you are using the latest version of your browser, and consider disabling your ad-blocker and VPN if you are using one.
4) Apple devices (iPhone / iPad)
If you are using an Apple device, please ensure you are using the latest version of iOS or iPadOS. You can update your device by following Apple’s guidance here:
support.apple.com/en-us/118575
5) Android devices (phones and tablets)
If you are using an Android device, please ensure your device is running the latest available version of Android. Older versions can sometimes prevent certain parts of websites (such as login tools) from working correctly.
To check for updates:
- Open your Settings app
- Tap System (or “About phone”)
- Tap Software update or System update
- Follow the on-screen instructions if an update is available
